Photoshop is the premiere software for retouching. In this course discover the 5 Rs: retouching, repairing, reshaping, replacing, and removing. Start with basic overall image adjustments like white balance for color casts and density adjustments, then move onto local adjustments using selections, masking and color range. From there students will learn how to repair damaged images, enhance and beautify portraits, convert to black and white including hand coloring and compositing images together to achieve more dynamic images. Techniques such as spotting, cloning, retouching and HDR will be covered. Maybe you would like to repair an old family photo, retouch a wedding image, remove the spots off a lady bug, reshape a fashion portrait, or replace a photo of yourself with an old boyfriend for a new one. All that and more will be covered in this class.
