Firework MX Course

Online Course on Macromedia Fireworks MX - Fireworks 4
Class Name

Macromedia Fireworks 4/MX

With Sandee Cohen's Macromedia Fireworks for Windows and Macintosh as reference book, weekly lessons, visits to showcase sites that exemplify lesson topics and comments to student assignments, we will be going through the most well-rounded graphics software out there: Macromedia Fireworks.

Create, edit, and animate Web graphics using a complete set of bitmap and vector tools. Use advanced export controls to optimize your images (no need for an external application like ImageReady), give them advanced interactivity, including automatically scripted Javascript, HTML/DHTML code and and export them into Macromedia Dreamweaver and other HTML editors.

The interaction between all Macromedia products goes very far. For example: Macromedia Director will translate all Fireworks code into Director Lingo when importing Fireworks files. Fireworks can create flash animations. Fireworks works smoothly with Freehand. You can also launch and edit Fireworks graphics from inside Dreamweaver or Macromedia Flash. This is why Fireworks is much more than just another graphics application.

Fireworks is quite easy and fun to learn. Don't know what Fireworks is? Visit http://www.macromedia.com/software/fireworks and take the Feature Tour (in the Product info section). How eClasses Work:The classroom environment is based on Lundeen & Associates Web Crossing technology, a threaded messaging system. Instructors post lectures, reading selections, and hands-on assignments once a week in the online classroom. Students can discuss the assignments with the instructor and amongst themselves in the classroom area. This format has no set meeting time, which allows students to attend class at a time most convenient to them, yet still provides logically organized communication between class participants. Students can apply for the completion certificate after finishing the class. Web Study certificate is also available. Click on the Certificates link on the top navigation bar for more information.
